        Made using only natural ingredients, Hilltop Energy Gels are light on the stomach whilst giving you that boost of energy you need for any workout, naturally. Each 30g sachet is packed with 22gm of carbohydrates, with honey’s carbohydrate profile our gels give you the optimum amount of energy needed to fuel your sporting needs with 20-30 minutes of natural energy, promotes hydration and is proven to improve endurance performance.

        Why honey? Micronutrients and minerals within honey have antioxidant, antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties without adding any artificial ingredients. Our gels also have added potassium and salt which helps replace electrolytes whilst sweating.

        Our 30g Hilltop Manuka Energy Gel contains only 2 ingredients. Manuka Honey and Salt – that’s it.

        Not what I expected

        I was hoping they would be easier to open and squeeze out better and not be soooo thick tbh! I’ll use them before runs but never during as I found it not right for me!

        The energy pouches are great and taste more natural than anything I have tried before now

        I love the pouches. They have delicious honey in them and are easy to digest. They are also much more tasty than your normal gel.

        Can't fault the product for doing its job. I only had the one gel 2/3 of the way through a 22km run. I definitely felt the boost.
        I appreciate that it's a natural product and that's exactly what I was and am after, however, I found it quite thick and difficult to get out of small opening of packet whilst running. This turned into a positive though as I gradually had the gel over the space of 4km or so. Maybe a runnier version of the product could be an idea, or carry water with you on your run.
        Great honey flavour, but possibly the addition of salt as a flavouring as it was very very sweet. Not sure what I should have expected being honey......
        One more piece of feedback, the delivery package for 2 gels was fairly excessive. I also wasn't sure if the foam peanuts were biodegradable or not.

        I'd buy again if they were stocked locally. Great product.
